GENERAL TERMS
Competitors agree to respect the rules and any modifications
to the rules deemed necessary by the race organisers Evolution

PHOTOGRAPHIC & VIDEO IMAGES
Competitors accept to have their photographs taken during the
event and to the use of the images taken.
REGISTRATION
Registrations are accepted from competitors of all
nationalities who declare they have the minimum level required
for each of the disciplines. Competitors agree to sign a
document stating they are responsible for their own actions
and to respect the rules and programme of the event.
TEAM NUMBERS
Each team is made up of : 2 competitors and 1 support team
member (minimum) with a vehicle.
REGISTRATION OF CHILDREN OVER THE AGE OF 14
Children over the age of 14 must sign in with a parent or
legal guardian. The adult concerned must sign a Parental
Authorisation form. Thereafter the children are considered by
the race organisers as competitors for the duration of the
event.
EQUIPMENT
Participants should provide the equipment listed in the
relevant document. Participants are responsible for condition
of their equipment and should carry out any necessary repairs
to their own equipment during the event. The organisers will
not be held responsible for damage to equipment used by the
participants during the race.
The organisers are responsible for the mountain bikes only
from Saturday afternoon until Sunday morning.
WEARING OF HELMETS AND BIBS
Participants agree to wear their helmets and race bibs for the
duration of the event.
THE BIVOUAC
Participants agree to bivouac at altitude, no form of
transport is available to or at altitude on the morning of the
event.
DURING THE RACE
The teams run the race 'blind' with no prior route or course
inspection. The teams are responsible for their own route
which the should study the day before with the help and
explication of the race organisers. The teams should read the
maps and the road book in order to orientate themselves with
the terrain
CHECK POINTS
The teams should check in at the control points given in the
road book. Missing a check point will result in a penalty with
the respective team being omitted from the final
classification. The number and location of the check points
will be announced during the briefing
CATEGORIES et CLASSIFICATION
4 team categories : Men – Women – Mixed – Junior
If a team is composed of 1 adult and 1 junior, the team shall
be considered as and adult team
TEAM RACE
The event is a race for teams of 2 competitors. If one
competitor abandons then the team is excluded form the event.
BOTTLE NECKS at SECTIONS
In the event of a back up caused by the arrival of a number of
teams at once at a particular transfer zone, any time lost
caused by the bottle neck and subsequent waiting times shall
be deducted by the organisers.
ACCIDENT – ABANDON
In the event of an accident, the team should alert the
organisers by telephone. The race organisers will then
activate the required rescue or assistance services at its
disposal.
ASSISTANCE – ROLE OF THE SUPPORT TEAM
The participants can change their equipment at any time
throughout the race. The competitors and the support team can
be in telephone contact. Members of the support team cannot
replace or help the competitors during the race. Support is
limited purely to equipment.

RESPONSIBILITY
The organisers decline all responsibility in case of personal
injury or damage to equipment during and after the event. Each
competitor should be aware of and accept the risks associated
with the event.
CANCELLATIONS
In the event of the race being cancelled by the organisers,
the entry fee will be reimbursed in its entirety
In the event of a team withdrawing from the event prior to the
start, 50% of the entry fee will be reimbursed.
